The Time is Now: SUBMIT

this is part 1 of a 2 part blog post

I don't even know where to start, but we have made it to the end of February! We are in the last week, and if you read my last post, you are not delayed. You should already know what I am about to ask you. Sis, Im bout to be in your business, you ready?

Did you take the time? Did you use this time to realign with God? And pour into yourself? And love on yourself? Friend, did you silence the noise? Did you find God’s voice? That was the assignment I left you with in my last post, and so I'm asking—did you?

I did. I took the time; I slowed all the way down in February. I did what I could, I apologized and didn't do what I couldn't. I silenced the noise around me. Most importantly, I sought God for what He has concerning me.

And I heard God’s voice. I felt His spirit, I felt His love, I felt His joy (not happiness—His joy), and in turn, I'm feeling a fire that has me ready to conquer 2025. I am feeling so confident, so at peace, so ready to go to war in the spirit if I have to. I am truly in position. I'm so on fire that it's currently the last days of February at 2:49 a.m. as I am writing this, and I don't feel tired at all because the Spirit has me up getting this word out.

Have You Heard from God?

God talked to me about what He needs from me. He talked to me about what He has for me. He talked to me about so much, and I can just cry because I felt like I haven't been hearing from Him in months. And so, if you're leaving month two of 2025 and you still haven't heard from God, I have to change my tone from the last blog post.

Because in the last post, I held your hand. In the last post, I told you—you were okay. I told you that you were not delayed. I encouraged you; I uplifted you. I sent you all the love. And please, before you read this post, click here to read my last post. Because this walk isn't always going to be sweet. Sometimes, it's going to be correction with love.

And if you are going into month three of 2025 and still have not heard the voice of God concerning you, I need you to get up. I need you to stop everything you are doing and get intentional about getting in the face of God. Because I don't want you to get six months into the year, lost, with an empty cup running on nothing but vibes and the revelations that I give you, or the revelations that your favorite pastor gives you, or the revelations that you've been holding onto since last year with no new revelation. You have to have your own revelation in there. You have to have your own word from God. You have to have something to chew on that God has for you. Because God has something just for you. He has a word just for you. And you need to seek His face for it. He can send His people, but you are only going to change—you are only going to really be on fire to MOVE—when you know what God says specifically to you. Because when you hear from God directly, it's just different. No other way to explain it. The word feels a little more special, knowing that God specifically said a word to you, concerning your specific situation, rather than through someone else, concerning a situation that may relate to a few people.

Honey, Its Time..

You see, it's time to get in position. If you really want what God has for you, if you are ready to receive the blessings from God, the purpose from God, the confirmation from God—you have to be in position.

And sometimes we think we are in position when we are not. Because when we get in position, we want to get into position about one specific thing or the thing we are most concerned about in this season. But God doesn't want a piece of you; He wants all of you. So, if you are getting in position, you have to get in full position to receive glory all over your life. Because you may be going to God concerning one thing, but God says, "I still have to attack the root. I still have to set you free from some things." You want the episodes to your season 42, and God still has you in season 3, episode 1. The character hasn't been developed yet. The story is still forming. The plot is still building. And God doesn't need you fast-forwarding to the part where you think you may be your happiest. He needs you to be all the way locked into this current season so that you can get all the information, all of the story, all of the context—so that you have what you need when He finally tells you to go forth.

Can I be Real for a second?

For example, I am 27 years old. In 2024, I thought I was so ready to meet my husband and be a wife, and I was so upset with God when I thought He showed me my husband but would not let me have him. I carried anger with God for the majority of 2024 because of what I thought I was ready for. So, I'm praying to God, telling Him how I'm going to be in position for my husband. I'm telling Him my worldly game plan: how I'm going to go out more, I'm going to get on the dating apps, and I'm looking at God with my hands open like, "Well, where is it?" I start feeling frustration and even bitterness, and God is like, "You are not in any position for a husband when you still struggle with the fear of rejection."

Can I be real with you all? God is like, "You are not ready when you still carry a fear of abandonment, when you still crave deep spiritual intimacy but struggle with trust and relying on others and confuse spiritual intimacy with craving a physical one." Let's be honest! God started to reveal to me, "You want Me to bless you with a husband, and if I give it to you prematurely, you will misuse what I have blessed you with, and it will do you more harm than good." Yes…He was all in my business. And God’s like, "I need you to get in a position of submission. I need you to get in submission of laying it bare at My feet. I need you to get in position of trusting Me with your worries and trusting Me with your burdened heart so I can start cleansing you and purifying you and sanctifying you because the husband I have for you is not just a husband, but an unlocked assignment that I have for you."

The Time is Now

Anyway, what I'm getting at here is that you need to get in position. I know you want the career. I know you want the success. I know you want the relationship. I know you want the financial stability. I know you want the peace. But you first have to truly get in position. You have to be in a place of submission with God. You have to be in the position to hear so clearly that you don’t miss a beat.
